WHO ARE WE

IBT Company is specialized in studies, in design and works in the fields of management and preservation of environmental resources (water-soil, forest-fauna), in the field of agricultural development, local development, Intercommunality & Decentralization, in the fields of institutional development & formulation, management and evaluation of projects/programs, and finally in the fields of energy, equipment and development of rural space (rural infrastructure, development of irrigated areas, hydro-agricultural dams , hydraulic and electrical construction).

It sometimes collaborates with international and regional companies and design offices for responses to occasional calls for tenders in Benin and Africa. Its clients are African state institutions and ministries, development agencies and international organizations. Created in 2002, it has Branches and Regional Directorates within the Beninese territory as well as focal points in many African countries. It employs a staff of approximately 750 permanent and non-permanent agents from all socio-professional categories. IBT Company maintains strong partnerships in Benin and Africa with professional associations in the construction sector in general and the private sector in particular.

Indeed, IBT is a member of:

  • The National Association of Public Works Construction Companies and Related Activities (ANECA), since 2002;
  • The National Coordination of the Inter-profession of Actors in the Construction Sector for the Development of Skills and the Emergence of the Sector (CONIDA-BTP-DCE), since 2014;
  • The National Confederation of Employers of Benin (CONEB), since 2016;The Beninese Irrigation and Drainage Committee (COBID), since 2002;
  • The Regional Association of Irrigation and Drainage (ARID), since 2002;
  • African Federation for Construction Contractors' Associations (AFCCA), since 2015.

These relationships with these professional organizations contribute to the capacity building and support of its Executives, Engineers and Technicians in order to update their technical levels and their managerial skills, given the current rapid and dazzling evolution of technological tools and models in the private sector.
