On October 1st, 2021, the Benin Republic President visited the construction site for the development of the primary drinking water supply network and the construction of 20,000 social housing units in Ouedo in the Municipality of Abomey-Calavi. The President of Republic visited the Ouedo site jointly with the Minister of Living Environment and Sustainable Development and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
The visit began with a brief presentation of the project at the Information House of Ouédo, where the presidential and ministerial teams were received by the Project Owner (SIMAU), KOFFI & DIABATE Group, CECO Control Mission BTP and Companies COLAS, ASEMI, PNHG and IBT. After this stage, the President of the Republic and his Ministers visited the site to observe the implementation of the project through the physical achievements carried out by the various executing companies involved in each area of activity, namely: Water Supply Drinking, roads, buildings, electricity & telephony. The President of the Republic expressed his satisfaction towards the progress of the work and congratulated those involved in the project.
