TECHNICAL AUDIT MISSION OF THE COLLINES AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROJECT (PADAC) IN BENIN ON BEHALF OF THE MINISTRY IN CHARGE OF AGRICULTURE AND FUNDED BY AFD

The objective of the study mission is to give the project owner a qualified opinion on the quality of the work carried out and the functionality of the equipment and materials provided to the people in the five (5) beneficiary municipalities of the project.

These were:

    • Assess the quality of the work carried out for the benefit of municipalities and private individuals in accordance with the relevance of the technical specifications and requirements mentioned in the Tender Files and the contracts of the project service companies;

    • Appreciate in connection with the financing agreement and the management manual of Agricultural Investment Funds (FIA) of PADAC, the process of acquisition and installation of agricultural equipment and materials for the benefit of private promoters;

    • Assess the conformity of attachments, statements/invoices and all technical support (including site logs) to the technical progress of the achievements.

MISSION TO CARRY OUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACTS STUDY OF MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE LAMA (MASSI, AKPE, KOTO) AND TOFFO FORESTS IN BENIN ON BEHALF OF THE NATIONAL WOOD OFFICE, UNDER SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY IN CHARGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

The objective of the study mission was to identify and evaluate the significant environmental and social risks and impacts of the planned activities as part of the development of participatory management plans for the six (06) forest sectors, on the physical and human components likely to be affected and to propose related mitigation, compensation or enhancement measures.

REFERENCE SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDIES MISSION AROUND THE CLASSIFIED FORESTS OF DAN, OUEME-BOKOU, DOGO-KETOU, TCHAOUROU, TOUI-KILIBO, AGOUA AND LOGOZOHE AND THE CLASSIFIED FORESTS OF THREE RIVERS, OUENOU -BENOU, TOP OUEME -NDALI AND TOP ALIBORI IN BENIN AND ON BEHALF OF THE CLASSIFIED FORESTS PROJECT OF BENIN UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY IN CHARGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND UNDER FINANCING FROM THE WORLD BANK

The objective of the study mission is, on the one hand, to provide the basic socio-economic parameters and indicators of the living conditions of the communities and, on the other hand, to set up a monitoring-evaluation system for said parameters for the ten (10) targeted forest complexes. This is to support the forestry sector, through the implementation of the Benin classified forest project, with the involvement of local populations.

MISSION TO EVALUATE THE CO-MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES OF FOREST PLANTATIONS AND TO DRAW PARTICIPATORY MANAGEMENT PLANS FOR THE AGRIMEY, DJIGBE, TOFFO, MASSI, KOTO AND AKPE PLANTATIONS IN BENIN ON BEHALF OF THE WOOD NATIONAL OFFICE, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY IN CHARGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

The objective of the study mission was, on the one hand, to evaluate the implementation of the co-management mechanism of the state plantations of Agrimey, Djigbé, Toffo, Massi, Koto and Akpé in Benin. by formulating proposals for improvement measures for greater efficiency and effectiveness in the conduct of co-management activities and on the other hand to update the management plans of forest units.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT STUDIES MISSION (ESIA) IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF (7) SEVEN CULTURAL ARENAS IN ABOMEY, PORTO-NOVO, OUIDAH, LOKOSSA, PARAKOU, KOUANDE AND NATITINGOU IN BENIN ON BEHALF OF THE AGENCY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT OF LIFE AND TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY IN CHARGE OF TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDED BY THE NATIONAL BUDGET

The objective of the Environmental and Social Impact Studies (ESIA) mission of the project was carried out in order to take into account all the components of the natural and human environments likely to be affected by the arena construction project. cultural centers of Abomey, Porto-Novo, Ouidah, Lokossa, Parakou, Kouandé and Natitingou; to identify the positive and negative impacts of the project on the environment and to plan the implementation of corresponding mitigation and maximization measures. The study also took into consideration the interests, expectations and concerns of the population and those of the local authorities of the cities. The cultural arena construction project, initiated by the Government of Benin with financing from the national budget.
